The demo midifiles are taken directly from the BandTrax master files. There may be "strange" notes at the very end of some demo files. This is NOT a fault in the original master, but just what may happen at a timed cut point. (Benders could be up or down, sustain could be on, etc.) We have removed any data or information NOT required for the demo file version, therefore if you analyse a particular demo file and wonder why there are parts NOT included that you think should be, it is because those parts are not required in the demo version of the file. The full arrangement WILL be in the complete file version. ALL demos are programmed to perform optimally with GM or GS hardware. Before using these MIDI file demos, make sure that you have a GM or GS sound source connected to your PC with MIDI, SERIAL or USB cables. Playing these MIDI file demos through the MIDI sounds of an internal PC sound card is NOT recommended as the end audio result can not be guaranteed and is usually found to be sub-standard. Soundcards or software designed to emulate or simulate GM or GS parameters may not produce the desired results. These demos are provided as examples of the final product, for prospective clients to review. They are not to be used, thought of, or considered as shareware, freeware or "link support" by any person or WEB site not directly associated with BandTrax Australia. If downloaded for further reference, the file is to remain intact in the form downloaded. These demo files may not be altered in any way.

Test your system before continuing.
Many people have substandard MIDI systems on computers. Here's a simple test. Below is a sample MIDI and MP3. Click MIDI to hear the MIDI Version, then click MP3 to hear the MP3 Version. If the MP3 sounds O.K., but the MIDI sounds wrong, something needs upgrading. If neither of them work correctly, you REALLY need to upgrade. Click here for upgrade MIDIfile Hardware/Software. If both the MIDI & MP3 sound similar, have fun playing and evaluating the demo files.
